RCC Photo Students Explore China

A group of 10 students traveled with RCC Photography instructor John Rash on a photo exploration trip to China during their winter break December 2011. This trip, the latest in a series that Rash has been organizing since 2009, carried the group through Beijing, Nanjing, Guilin, and Shanghai with stops at the Great Wall, Yangshuo County, fashion photography studio Studio5 in Shanghai, and the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Museum.

Each photo exploration trip Rash has organized to China has offered its own unique path and photographic opportunities, the highlight of the most recent being 3 days spent in the small rural city of Yangshuo which neighbors the larger, more developed Guilin. Students were able to ride bikes through small villages and interact with Chinese citizens who live a much more traditional lifestyle than that in the more industrialized cities of Beijing and Shanghai.

Rash and the students plan to organize a show of printed works later in the year, once the participating students have had time to select and prepare their images for exhibition. For the time being, students such as Mollie Trivette and Helen Gorlesky have already began posting images from China to their own blogs and websites. "After attending Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, Rick returned home to his native Michigan and began what he calls “ my real education into the photo biz.” That was the experience of working in one of the largest and busiest studios in the Detroit area, first as a photographer’s assistant and later as studio manager overseeing the daily activities of a staff of more than twenty. Rick says, “ I wouldn’t take a million dollars for that education.”

In the 1970’s he and the family moved to North Carolina where he owned and operated a commercial advertising photography studio for more than twenty-five years working with such clients as Eastman Kodak, IBM, Remington Arms, Farm Rich, McDonald’s, US Treasury Dept., The National Archives, and the US Marine Corp, to name a few.

After closing the studio in 1999, he continued, on a limited basis, to do commercial work, however spending more time exploring and creating his personal work.

Rick draws inspiration in the stillness and silence of his subject matter. Being especially drawn to the pastoral countryside he is fascinated by forms and textures in nature with the ability to see the complex unpretentiousness in everyday objects and visually transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Using what he calls his “intuitive vision” he creates messages originating in the heart and revealed by the light; meticulous compositions of substance, tone and texture with an uncompromising attention to detail.

Rick has won numerous regional and national awards for his work including his personal favorite, selected for inclusion in ‘Professional Visions; 40th Anniversary Exhibit of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) at Photokina in Cologne, Germany. He is also included in a permanent collection at the George Eastman House in Rochester, New York (1 of only100 images selected from over 27,000 submittals) and has lectured at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) College of Photographic Art. He is also a regular lecturer, workshop leader and contributor in the North Carolina Randolph Community College photographic program.

“The Lumen Project: Building Working Relationships”

Biocommunications Photography Creative Problem Solving class presented Dr. Robert Shackleford, RCC President, with an autographed copy of their new book entitled “The Lumen Project: Building Working Relationships” and the companion calendar.

The book and the calendar were collaborative projects created by the students under the leadership of their instructor, Kevin Eames. This is the first year the Creative Problem Solving class has been part of the curriculum for Biocommunications Photography. “I am so proud of this class,” Eames said. “The students demonstrated remarkable teamwork in creating the images, designing the book and calendar, working out copyright and publication issues, and producing great products.”

PHOTO PLUS EXPO 2011

We estimate there were 50-60 RCC photo students in NYC at this year's Photo Plus Expo (including both 1st and 2nd year students). All 2nd Year students were provided complimentary transportation due to the RCC Photo Challenge Fund, and more than 20 students were able to attend PPE seminars in exchange for volunteer work at the Expo and PDN Gala event. Special thanks to Katrin Eismann, Moneer & and the other PPE organizers for the opportunities they continue to extend to RCC photography students.

For many students this was their first trip to New York, who despite the heavy rain Thursday and snow on Saturday, had a gloriously clear Friday for photographing the city.

Photo Department Head Chuck Egerton was honored to visit the eminent photographer Rodney Smith at his home in New Jersey (who currently has RCC commercial student Brandon Warren as his intern).

Each of our instructors and staff contributed in some way, above and beyond normal duties, to make this trip a great success!

New Hoodies (Bilingual)

Our new hoodie design is due to hit the press this week. Every few years we take a bus full of 2nd year students to the New York PDN Photo Plus Expo and to mark the event we print up nice hooded sweatshirts to protect ourselves from the autumn winds. Because several students are also traveling to China this December, this year's hoodie comes in two different languages! The Chinese version reads "love china, love photography" on the back in Chinese characters.

A few extra english language hoodies will be available in the RCC bookstore for purchase for those not participating in this year's travel opportunities.

Eugene Smith's concerned photography and dedicated compassion exhibited during his 45-year career as a photographic essayist.

SNL Cinematographer Alex Buono to speak at Randolph Community College Wed. Feb. 23 @ 7 p.m.

ASMP/NC is proud to present an evening with award-winning cinematographer Alex Buono at Randolph Community College, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Canon and Explorers of Light.

In the world of film and television, there is no deadline more unmovable than when you hear those magical words, "Live from New York, It's Saturday Night! " As a 10-year veteran of the Saturday Night Live Film Unit, Alex Buono must deliver high-end commercial parodies and short films in as few as 24 hours, and he will share with you how shooting with the Canon 5DmII & 7D has revolutionized the way he works.

Alex will use his experience over the decade at SNL to demonstrate everything you need to know when it comes to shooting videos with your DSLR. Topics covered will include an extensive setup primer: discussing shutter speeds, frame rates, aspect ratios, camera settings, and vital production gear. Alex will also cover his work flow - both on-set and in post production, including topics such as, "Advantages of Canon DSLR versus other Formats"; "Transcoding files into edit-friendly codecs"; and "How to create time lapse sequences".

Whether you are a still photographer looking to transition into video production or a veteran cinematographer looking to embrace new technology, this lecture will provide a comprehensive introduction to HDSLR cinema.

Born in Portland, Oregon, Alex moved to Los Angeles in 1991 to attend the USC School of Cinematic Arts, majoring in film production and still photography. His early post-collegiate years were spent on the camera crews of studio films including Twister, Conspiracy Theory, and Armageddon, learning from top ASC cinematographers and personal mentors including Conrad Hall, Don Burgess, Dean Cundey, and John Schwartzman.

Soon after, Alex became a full-time cinematographer of indie films, music videos, and as the Director of Photography for the Saturday Night Live Film Unit.

In 2003, Alex received an Oscar Nomination for the short film Johnny Flynton, which he photographed and also produced. Alex repeated the dual role of cinematographer and co-producer on Green Street Hooligans, about London’s football-gang subculture starring Elijah Wood, which won both the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award at the 2005 South By Southwest Film Festival. He was also the cinematographer of Shanghai Kiss, shot in China and starring Hayden Panettiere. Following, Alex wrote, produced and shot the documentary feature Bigger Stronger Faster*, which premiered in competition at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and was distributed theatrically by Magnolia Pictures.

In 2009, Alex's 10th season with Saturday Night Live marked his first experimentation with the new HDSLR format, shooting the show's title sequence and most of the season's commercial parodies with Canon 5D and 7D cameras. Alex lives in Venice, California where he continues to write, produce, and shoot for his production company, Third Person.

RCC GRADUATE LANDS IN CHINA

Seagrove native and 2009 RCC Photography graduate Amanda Clay has just begun a semester of study at Nanjing Normal University,Nanjing, China as a recipient of the 2010 Confucius Institute Global Chinese Study scholarship, the same scholarship awarded to RCC photography instructor John Rash in the previous year. Amanda pursued a more in-depth study of Chinese culture after first visiting China as aparticipant in the Sino-American Photography Exchange trip arranged by Rash and instructors at Nanjing Normal in May 2009. While studying Mandarin Chinese in Nanjing, Amanda also plans to explore professional photographic opportunities in China and document her daily experiences adapting to life in a different culture. Dear RCC Photographic Technology Applicants Entering Fall 2010:

The state of the art Photography Program at Randolph Community College is in its fifth decade. Our long run of success and national recognition rests on the quality and dedication of our instruction, the relevance of our curriculum, the commitment of our students and the accomplishments of our graduates. Our students come from everywhere to learn a career in the dynamic field of professional photography. Our curriculum has been carefully designed and is continuously adapted to meet the ever advancing change in our industry. Our instructors are personally dedicated to guide and train our students in the latest technical, visual and business aspects of professional photography.
Our two year Photographic Technology Associate Degree program hits the ground running. Students learn over six continuous, rigorous semesters. No previous photographic knowledge is required. All students complete a diverse series of courses in a first foundation year of photography and then decide to enter one of four concentration areas: Biocommunications, Commercial, Photojournalism or Portrait Studio Management. These concentrations include on-the-job internship opportunities available locally, across the country and the world.
At times there is a high demand to enroll in our curriculum and for this reason we ask that you complete certain tasks within a time line. This packet contains all you will need to guide you through the application and admissions process.
Regarding equipment requirements, students must own a digital SLR camera body and a normal lens (or zoom including 50mm focal length), a hand held flash, tripod, light meter and portable hard drive. The dSLR camera is not required until Spring Semester of first year.

Camera requirements: (flash, tripod, light meter and hard drive specifications are included in the packet)
• Digital camera SLR (single lens reflex) body capable of total manual operation, “raw” file capture and interchangeable lenses with metal mounts.
• a zoom lens in the 17mm-85mm range capable of manual focus
• hot shoe for flash (standard/universal type)
• 3 frames per second motor drive
Canon, Nikon or Fuji brand camera bodies are recommended if a student wants access to a variety of additional lenses available for check out from the Photo dept.
Medium format film cameras will be provided on a limited basis for student use but owning your own could allow more individual access. Please contact us for more details if you are considering purchasing one.
The cost of our curriculum (above tuition) varies widely depending on the student. We estimate books and supplies will cost approximately $2,500 per year. Camera equipment including a digital SLR with lens and all the auxiliary equipment listed in this packet can vary from $2,000 to $5,000 and up depending on the features and whether the equipment is new or used. Always get a 30-90 day warranty on used equipment!

for Photography Technology Students

Please note: Students need only arrive with a tripod. Other equipment can be purchased as they are better informed of the functions and features. Equipment listed below is time tagged to inform students when the equipment is needed as they move through the program.

"My presentation is about the career of a self-taught photographer who entered the then male-dominated fashion photography world as the first woman in a generation. I will show a wide variety of work done throughout that career and discuss how these wonderful projects came about.

"I do not concentrate on the technical side of photography — although I do cite interesting technical aspects when appropriate — rather on the creative, conceptual side of photography, based on my background in fine arts and fashion.

"There are many funny stories, touching stories and professional stories that make up what I hope is an inspirational, entertaining evening."

Bio

The internationally renowned portrait and fashion photographer, Barbara Bordnick, began her career in Copenhagen and Paris before returning to open a studio in New York in 1968 where her photography in HARPER’S BAZAAR began drawing acclaim.

Over the past thirty-nine years she has received innumerable honors and awards for her film and print work, including:

Missouri School of Journalism Award
The Polaroid Corporation commission to document portraits of America’s Great Women of Jazz - the first 8x10 Polacolor.

Barbara’s works are in the permanent collections of the International Center of Photography, the Gilman Paper Collection in New York, the Polaroid Collection in Massachusetts, George Eastman House in Rochester, NY, the Portland Museum of Art in Maine and the Hallmark Museum for Contemporary Photography in Massachusetts.

Her book SEARCHINGS, Secret Landscapes of Flowers was published in the spring of 2003 to rave reviews. SEARCHINGS, Volume II was published May 2004 to even greater acclaim, and Volume III was published in the fall of 2005. A traveling exhibition of these photographs is currently showing throughout the United States. Ms. Bordnick served three terms as the president of the Advertising Photographers of New York, and was the first woman president of the American Society of Magazine Photographers in 1977-78. On May 24, 2006 she was awarded the International Photographic Council’s Leadership Award at the United Nations.

Circa Gallery Features Work of RCC Photography Students Jan. 15- Feb. 5

ASHEBORO (January 8, 2010)

The photographs of 33 Randolph Community College Photographic Technology students will be featured in an art exhibition titled "Open Eyes" from Jan. 15 to Feb. 5 at the Circa Gallery in downtown Asheboro.

A Patron Preview and Artist Reception will be held on Friday, Jan. 15, from 5-8 p.m. The event is free and the public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

The students involved in the exhibit are all second-year students from all four concentrations: Biocommunications, Commercial, Photojournalism, and Portrait Studio Management. Students were allowed to submit three images of their choosing for consideration for the show, said Greg Stewart, Commercial and Artistic Production Division chair and photography instructor. The project was independent of their classes.

Stewart said the theme, Open Eyes, "reflects the wide range of photographs in the exhibition. Our students learn to always be alert to photographic possibilities by keeping their eyes open and their imaginations engaged."

participate in PDN Photo Plus Expo 2009.

A group of nearly 50 students traveled to Manhatatan, NY on Oct 21st to attend this year's Photo Plus Expo. Several students from RCC were given the opportunity to help as teaching assistants during hands-on workshops at the Jacob Javits Center on the west side of Manhattan. On the evening of Oct 22nd six RCC students assisted with PDN's Photo Bash. While in New York, students and faculty were also able to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art to view Robert Frank's "the Americans" photo exhibit.

The event was a public gathering with talks and presentations on Moon Festival customs and activities, as well as performances of traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean arts (the three East Asian countries that currently celebrate the mid-autumn holiday on the same lunar calendar).

Graduate Wins Gold in Canada
Greensboro photographer Stacey Haines, a 2003 graduate of Randolph Community College's Photographic Technology program, was the winner of a gold award for the Home & Gardens category at the National Magazine Awards held in Toronto recently. Haines was one of the most nominated photographers with four nominations.

Based in North Carolina, New York and Nova Scotia, Haines is known for her advertising and editorial work. She specializes in natural, light infused lifestyle, food, interiors and travel images. On a recent trip to France she photographed a quaint cooking school and the bucolic Normandy countryside.

Haines has traveled extensively in the United States, Canada, and Europe with images appearing in magazines such as Gourmet, Canadian Home & Country, Westchester Cottages & Gardens, Canadian Gardening, Style At Home, Signature NC and Our State of North Carolina.

The National Magazine Awards Foundation is a nonprofit organization that promotes excellence in Canadian magazine journalism through the judging and awarding of over 2,000 nominee submissions from across the country.

Kodak Retires Kodachrome.

It was announced on Monday that Kodak will retire Kodachrome, which has been in production since 1935. Although still used by many professional photographers, Kodak sited a continuous drop in sales and the digital age of photography as their reason for coming to this unfortunate conclusion.

Tuition-Free Multimedia Workshop
for students and laid-off professional photojournalists.

Responding to the current U.S. economy and the state of the newspaper industry, VJ Multimedia Workshops founder and executive director Paul Myers developed the multimedia workshop to provide college students and professional journalists with strategies for storytelling in the ever-changing media landscape.

When and where will the workshop be held? The workshop is July 30- August 2, 2009 in Ventura, CA. The work will be displayed on www.vjworkshops.org and launched on August 2, 2009.

RCC Instructor Leads Photo Walk at Duke Gardens.

Saturday, June 7, 2009. 21 amateur photographers met with RCC digital photography instructor John F Rash for a hands-on instructional photo walk through Sarah P. Duke Gardens in Durham, NC. Photo walks have become a popular way for photographers of all levels to meet like-minded people and share their knowledge of photography. All participants in Saturday's photo walk are also members of the Triangle Area Chinese Language and Culture Meet-Up Group.

Instructor Rash has also just returned from leading a group 11 photography students from Randolph Community College and UNCG to China in May. Members of the Triangle Meet-Up Group invited Rash to give a basic photography lesson and to share his experience from the recent trip to China. Hannah Ward, a current student at RCC who also participated in the trip to China, also attended Saturday's photo walk to lend her experience and advise to the group of local amateur photographers.May 2009: Rash, students from RCC and UNCG, with photojournalism students at Nanjing Normal Univesity, Nanjing China.

RCC Photo Instructor John F Rash gives lecture at Photojournalism School, Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing China.

March 4-6, 2009, John F Rash visited the school of photography and photojournalism at Nanjing Normal University. Rash met with the students and faculty through various organized exchanges. On the afternoon of March 5, Rash met with the entire Photography and Journalism faculty including head of the program and well-known Chinese photographer Dr. Pei Lin Li.

Thursday March 5, Rash presented an evening lecture, which was open to the entire student population of Nanjing Normal. Rash discussed areas of change in professional photography and journalism from the perspective of working American photographers, and also gave a presentation of his own work. Students were allowed to ask questions, working through a student interpreter who was chosen by the school due to her high level of English fluency. Rash spoke again with Junior and Senior photojournalism students the morning of March 6, presenting Adobe's Lightroom software in it's new Chinese language version.

During this visit to Nanjing, Rash met with the students and faculty to discuss future exchange opportunities between his students at Randolph Community College and those studying photography in Nanjing. Rash will travel back to Nanjing this May, on a photo exploration trip, accompanied by nine of his current and former students who will work together with students from Nanjing Normal to capture their photographic impressions of China.

JOHN F RASH SELECTED FOR ECU PHOTO BIENNIAL AWARD
John F Rash, digital photography instructor at Randolph Community College, has had two photographs selected for exhibit at East Carolina University's 6th Photographic Image Biennial Exhibition, which runs Jan. 20 - Feb 18 in the Wellington B. Gray Gallery on the ECU campus.

One piece, titled "Night Bastard," was selected as one of five top works to receive a monetary award and publication in the exhibition catalog. Rash said the image "was captured in the park beside the Grand Street metro station in New York. Local youth gather here to play handball and socialize on a daily basis. I observed the lighting conditions created by overhanging trees combined with available light reflecting from the park wall. The effect was a natural silhouetted image of the kids interacting under the tree canopy."

The other work that will be on display is titled "Connection Xi'An," which Rash took while walking along the city wall in Xi'An, China in May 2008. "I peered at eye level into a kaleidoscope of repeating cell-like apartment buildings, high above the ground level," said Rash. "This particular image captures a man speaking on his cell phone, caged behind the bars of his apartment window. He is placed into context of the Xi'An cityscape by means of a backdrop of rooftops, windows, TV antennas, and satellite dishes. Here, a lone man reaches for communication among a nation of billions who have been reeling from the quickest and most dynamic societal shift of our past century."

Rash has spent the past 10 years exploring the world through visual images captured by both traditional and digital photographic processes. A North Carolina native, he was born and raised in the mountain highlands of Avery County. After graduating with a BFA in Art Education from the University of North Carolina a t Greensboro in 2000, Rash worked for several years as a public high school AP art instructor in Guilford County. In 2004, Rash accepted a full-time faculty position as instructor of digital photography at RCC. Since 2006, he has embarked on several trips to China for both language and photographic opportunities. Rash has been invited to visit Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing, China, in March 2009 to present a lecture on digital photographic workflow.

North Carolina has become a "battleground state" for the first time in decades, driving both candidates to fight for votes in our region many times over the past few weeks. ADOBE CS4 RELEASE.
Adobe announced today the late October 2008 release of CS4. The big push this time around seems to be interactive workflow and seamless movement between print, web, and interactive applications. Although Photoshop is still the signature software, the announcement seemed to lack huge innovation over CS3. However, the former Macromedia products now under the Adobe moniker have been fully polished to work with the Adobe standards we have been using for years. Photographers should be most excited about Lightroom 2.0, as the features in CS4 may only be beneficial to graphic designers and video producers among other interactive artists.

Educational rates have already been announced and can be Pre-ordered at Adobe's website.

Adobe announces pending CS4 announcement.
Adobe recently announced the coming release of the next generation of their Creative Suite software applications. CS4 will be previewed to the world via webcast at 9:00am on September 23, 2008, and shortly thereafter released for sale to the public. If you are interested in watching the live webcast you can visit http://adobe.istreamplanet.com to sign up for a remider email prior to the announcement. Adobe will also announce the offical release date at the time of the webcast on Sept 23.

PHOTOSHOP WORLD 2008: Las Vegas, NV
Photoshop World officially kicked off early Wednesday morning. The keynote presentation from Adobe included a few previews of CS4, which really seemed to energize the crowd of professional graphic designers and photographers as they launched into three days of training sessions, trade expo madness, and valuable networking. Big hits on the tradeshow floor were Canon's new 50D DSLR (still no word on a full-frame replacement for the 5D), and Adobe's Lightroom 2.0.

NEW BUS SERVICE FROM GREENSBORO to ASHEBORO
PARTNC began a new bus route on July 1, running several daily routes between Greensboro and Asheboro, including stops at both UNCG and Randolph Community College. At $2 per ride, or $1 with a student ID, commuting RCC students stand to gain a tremendous savings on daily travel expenses. Students may also opt to visit the PART Hub (near the PTI Airport) to purchase a monthly pass for $25 ($50 for non-students). Passes are also valid for all other PART routes including their service between Greensboro and Winston Salem, and Boone, NC. Several RCC students and faculty have already adopted the PART bus as their means of transportation, and have raved about the service.

Adobe recently released beta version of Lightroom 2.0
Going back to their public beta release of the original Lightroom, it seems Adobe has decided this is a good model for the Lightroom software. Current Lightroom users can download and install the 2.0 Beta update from now until August 2008, while new users are limited to a 30-day trial. This is slightly hidden within the installer notes, as I was first lead to believe that new users would also have the option to run the 2.0 Beta until August. Society for Photographic Education (SPE) Regional Conference comes to Randolph Community College.
The 2008 SPE Southeast regional conference will be held in Asheboro, NC, November 7-9, 2008 in the Photographic Imaging Center at RCC.

Each year our region organizes an annual regional conference each Fall, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. Like the national conference, these programs range over a wide variety of topics and bring together SPE members in an arena of scholarly inquiry and fellowship.

The Southern Short Course in News Photography is America's longest-running photojournalism seminar. Originally founded by the Carolinas Press Photographers Association, the SSC is now a non-profit independent organization. With its outstanding faculty, the SSC's sole purpose is to provide educational programs for students and photojournalists. Even though the word "southern" is in the name, the competition has no geographic limits and is open to anyone, student or professional.

PHOTO EXPO 10/17-10/19

Here's a quick update from our trip to New York as exhibitors and attendees of the Photo Plus Expo. Our group (three Faculty and six students) arrived in the city on Weds morning, and we hit the ground running. The day included buying furniture for our booth, checking-in and setting up at the Expo, and touring the School of Visual Arts MPS, BFA-Photo, and MFA-Photo facilities. We wrapped things up with a meal in Chinatown, and some much needed rest before hitting the Expo floor on Thursday morning. Our table was buzzing all day Thursday, as we met with conference attendees, graduates, and a wide variety people interested our Photography program. Many people said they stopped just to tell us how happy they were to see us at the Expo for the first time. Some of the students worked at teaching assistants in the hands-on digital photo seminars, and had the opportunity to work with Kevin Ames and Katrin Eismann just to name a few. We will continue our presence at the Expo until it closes on Saturday afternoon, so please feel free to stop by our booth if you have a chance.

RCC Photo will attend this year's PPE conference (Photo Plus Expo in New York) as an exhibitor. Photo Taken at RCC Appears on Lois Greenfield's 2007 Calendar
A photograph taken in the Randolph Community College Photography Imaging Center last February has been published on dance photographer Lois Greenfield’s 2007 calendar, “Breaking Bounds.” Greenfield, widely considered to be one of the world’s premier dance photographers, appeared at RCC on Feb. 18 and 19, 2006, to give a lecture and conduct an advanced workshop on her unique form of photography. Assistance for the Feb. 19 workshop and live presentation was provided by the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem.

END OF THE SEMESTER
Fall Semester is coming to a close and the student blogs are full of images from their first semester as 2nd year students. Many students are now returning from their first internship experience (Commercial and Photojournalism concentrations). It has been an exciting semester and everyone is ready to charge their batteries after a hard working fall season. Our first year students are certainly feeling excited about making through some really tough courses, and will move into new classes in just a few weeks. PHOTO EXPO.
Two RCC photo instructors and at least 8 students attended last weekend's PhotoPlus Expo at the Javits Center in Manhattan, New York. The on going discussion of digital photography, data asset management, and workflow were on the tips of everyone's tongues. Nikon premiered the D80 camera, and Adobe was putting a huge push behind Lightroom which is still a free BETA download in it's current form. IView had a strong presence, and Apple tried again to convince us that aperture is the solution to our RAW file needs. It was an interesting show with too much information to digest. As always we are now exchanging notes and passing along the most valuable information to our students and colleagues. PhotoExpo has become a bit of a tradition for us and we hope to see you there again next year! -Rash
