FICTION BECOMES FACT: Canon 5D Mark II.
Canon has finally announced the overly anticipated replacement for their full-frame 5D camera. Although the camera isn't expected to ship until late November (just in time for Christmas) P/reviews are already available at most reputable websites including DPREVIEW. Some of the most impressive specs are listed below:

• ISO 50 to 25,600 (High ISO noise reduction)
• EOS Integrated Cleaning "Dust Reduction" system
• 3.9 frames per second shooting speed
• Unlimited Large/Fine JPEG buffer with UDMA CompactFlash cards, letting you shoot bursts to the limit of the card
• 14 RAW buffer with a UDMA CF card; 13 RAW buffer with a standard CF card
